More than striving to achieve what they aspire for in this life, Christian youth prioritize their Church duties. That was the central point preached by Brother Gil Caberto, supervising minister of Isabela East District, during the special gathering of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) chapters in the district on June 24, 2023. It was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Cauayan City in the Philippines.

CBI is an organization inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its members who are studying.

“This special gathering is in celebration of the 54th anniversary of CBI. As what we heard from the lecture, the biblical instruction from the Lord God will make us wise in life. That is vital toward securing a bright future,” said Yves Palattao, a CBI district officer and college instructor in Cauayan City.

It was also pointed out that young members of the Church behave as true Christians should even at school, and that they must choose their companions wisely.

Grellymae Agustin, graduating nursing student from the Local Congregation of Ilagan City said, “I am so grateful to the Almighty God for letting me reach this stage of my education. It is indeed true that He alone holds our future. I will always take to heart what I heard.” — With reports from Precious Joy Del Valle of INC News section
