“Occasions like this cheer me up, as these help encourage me continue in the process of joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” said Arliz delas Alas, a candidate for baptism from the Local Congregation of San Matias.

On September 11, 2022, doctrinal instructees and candidates for baptism from the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East in the Philippines attended a special gathering that was hosted for them. They gathered at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Fernando for the said occasion.

Brethren who have been instrumental in introducing the Church to the prospective members accompanied them. Joanne Salas, a member from the Local Congregation of San Matias, enthused, “Seeing my guests become doctrinal instructees, then candidates for baptism, until eventually being baptized, is truly heartwarming. I’m all the more encouraged to keep sharing the true faith to more of my fellowmen.”

Brother Bhel John Ubaldo, district supervising minister, inspired the attendees with God’s words. Through the Bible, he reiterated to them the importance of not only seeking the true religion but also remaining active herein until the end of time.

A “Welcome, My Brethren” activity followed right after the special gathering, providing the attendees a chance to get acquainted with each other. — With reports from INC News Section
