From various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, Canada, prospective members—those who completed instructions in Bible doctrines and other requirements for membership—received their baptism on April 30, 2023 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Beaconsfield, Quebec.

The baptismal gathering was led by Brother Jose Razon II, district supervising minister. During the preaching of the words of God, Brother Razon reminded the candidates for baptism the importance of receiving the holy baptism. He also reminded them to remain faithful and true to the words of God written in the Holy Scriptures to ensure salvation on the Day of Judgment.

After the sermon, Brother Melvin Ibañez, district Light of Salvation overseer, led the candidates for baptism in taking their oath of membership. Then, Brother Linito de Aro, district auditor, baptized them.

“Conducting holy baptism is in fulfillment of God’s will. Receiving it in the true Church is a noble undertaking for people to receive salvation on Judgment Day. That is why in our district we continuously hold baptisms. And with God’s help and mercy, more souls were added to the fold this month,” said Brother Razon. —With reports from Michaella Faith Uplos of INC News Section
