On August 24, 2021, the much awaited day of the prospective members in the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa in Canada, finally came. On that day, they received the right to serve God and the hope for salvation on Judgment Day when they were baptized inside the true Church.
Following health protocols, the candidates for baptism, along with the brethren instrumental to their conversion, gathered at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Pointe-Claire in Quebec.
The holy occasion was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Jose Razon II. During the study of God’s words, he emphasized to the attendees the importance of completing the race that God has set for them as new members of the Church Of Christ for them to receive the promised eternal life in the Holy City.
Meanwhile, other brethren in the district were blessed to also witness the sacred gathering from the confines of their homes through videoconferencing.
In an interview, Brother Razon said, “The inspiration of the brethren in their continuous efforts in sharing their faith is their unity with the Church Administration. With the help and mercy of the Lord God, we can really see the glaring testament of how He works in His nation. … We are thankful to Him that He continues to call more people [inside the Church Of Christ] despite what we are facing in the world today.” — With reports from INC News Section
