“We thank the Lord God for blessing our district. With His help, we have conducted the first baptism this year; more are scheduled in the coming months. Through this, more people are added to the Church and are now among those who have the firm hope of salvation on Judgment Day,” Brother Alfonso Rico, district supervising minister, said. He officiated the baptismal service held on January 14, 2023, at the house of worship of Angono Congregation.
“I am happy to be included in God’s children in these last days. I am proud to be a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ),” said Crystal Grace Siasol, one who received baptism that day. “I decided to join the Church, learning that the Bible is its sole basis of faith. I was convinced the way the minister answered questions straight from the Bible.”
“It was a wonderful feeling to see the result of your efforts in sharing the faith. Seeing them receiving the holy baptism feels great indeed,” said Richel Natividad, a deaconess from the Local Congregation of Silangan.
Brother Edgardo Bumagat, the district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, is also there to support the district’s first baptism of the year. He said, “The brethren are happy to participate in the intensive propagation of God’s words. They are now reaping the fruits of their missionary efforts.” — With reports from INC News Section
