The erstwhile extension in Royal Oak, Alberta, Canada held an evangelical mission—its first as a full-fledged congregation—two days after the inaugural worship.

On April 3, 2023, the brethren from the Local Congregation of Royal Oak, Alberta in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary united in inviting and bringing guests to their place of worship to listen to the proclamation of the truths that God wants everyone to know and follow for their salvation.

Brother Roy Ibasco, resident ministerial worker, led the study of God’s words. He made it clear that true faith is based solely on the Holy Scriptures, and that is the characteristic of the faith of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). That, he pointed out still citing from the Bible, is one among many proofs that this Church is the true one that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ

“Everyone was so welcoming,” observed Cheryl Butterworth, a guest. “I felt at peace upon attending and listening the teachings this Church upholds. I’m sure that I’ll come back,” she added.

“It’s heartwarming to see many guests attended in our first evangelical mission in our new place of worship,” said Richard Deauna, head deacon. With God’s help and mercy, our efforts were not in vain. God has blessed us success, which all the more inspired us to continue sharing the Good News of salvation to our fellowmen.” — With reports from Zandrhea De Guzman of INC News Section
