Members of the San Isidro Group Worship Service in the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental conducted their GWS’ inaugural worship on August 31, 2023, marking its official establishment.

Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering during which the brethren collectively expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Lord God for the blessing they received through the Church Administration, which included having their own place of worship.

The brethren from the new GWS used to attend worship services with the Victorias City Congregation whose house of worship is almost 10 kilometers away from their homes in the Barangay San Isidro, Enrique B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.

“We are very grateful to the Lord God for He heard our prayers; the brethren don’t have to travel far just to attend worship services and any activities of the Church because God, through the Church Administration, has approved the establishment of a GWS in our area,” said Brother Gene Derek Gamboa, the new GWS’ resident ministerial worker.

During the study of God’s words, Brother Canlas taught the brethren to value and love their new place of worship. Pointing out that they have more reasons to be thankful to God, he exhorted them to be more dedicated to their worship of the Almighty God.

“I am very happy that we already have a place of worship in our area,” enthused Nenita Garcia, a new a member of the Church. “I promise to God that I will be of help to the Church Administration in sharing the faith to my neighbors and to my friends here in our barangay so more people will know the truth and receive salvation on Judgment Day.”

Brother Stanley Rivera, assistant district supervising minister, said, “On behalf of the brethren in San Isidro GWS, we promise to God and to the Church Administration as well, that no matter what happens we will love and take care of our new house of worship because here in this place the brethren seek refuge to God and carry out their services to Him.”  — With reports from Finley Sanglitan of INC News Section
