Under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, a new extension of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) was added in Brgy. San Pablo, Manapla, 57 kilometers away from the district office in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

On July 1, 2023, with the approval of the Church Administration, the first worship service of the San Pablo Extension was held in their own house of worship. Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister, led the holy occasion.

Expressing the brethren’s happiness, Brother Mark Buendia, resident ministerial worker, said on their behalf, “We are immensely grateful to God for giving us a place of worship. It’s vital for our spiritual welfare because this is where we can worship the Lord, pray to Him, conduct our devotional prayers, and uphold our services.”

“I will further devote myself wholeheartedly to serving God no matter what happens,” promised Daniel Ferrer, head deacon. “By remaining steadfast in my faith and with His help, I know I can surpass all the trials.”

In an interview, Brother Stanley Rivera, assistant district supervising minister, gladly reported that “there will be another extension to be established in the district before this month ends.” He further said, “With the guidance of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, it is our hope that the Church in this part of the country will continue to flourish.” — With reports from Finley Sanglitan of INC News Section
