Commemorating God’s abundant love and blessings to the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia in Canada for 13 years, the district leadership led by its supervising minister, Brother Moriel D. Cadacio, launched a series of activities.

“We prepared activities for the brethren to participate with as well as to further intensify the work of propagation that the Church Administration launched,” Brother Cadacio said.

On June 19, 2023, a “Welcome, My Brethren” was conducted at the Aria Banquet and Convention Centre in Surrey, British Columbia along Pattullo Pl, Surrey, BC. Musical presentations were performed by various local congregations to entertain and make the doctrinal instructees, candidates for baptism, and newly baptized brethren feel more welcome through Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.

Five days later, on June 24, a new group worship service (GWS) in the district was formally established through a worship service held at the Cumberland Masonic Hall at 2687 Dunsmuir Avenue. Officiated by the district supervising minister, the inaugural worship service of the Campbell River GWS was attended by the pioneering brethren together with those from the neighboring congregations of Victoria and Nanaimo.

Meanwhile, on the following day, June 25, the brethren held an outreach-evangelical mission at the Parksville Community Centre along 132 Jensen Avenue in Parksville, BC. During the evangelistic part of the activity, Brother Cadacio taught God’s plan for all people to join the true Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) to attain salvation.

Afterwards, the ministers led the Church officers in handing over to the guests care packages containing basic grocery items.

“We are thankful to our Lod God for blessing our district with many victories. It is the faith of the brethren that whatever the situation is, we will continue to uphold our membership until the end,” expressed Brother Cadacio. — With reports from Dwayne Blanco
