Brethren from the local congregations of Mississauga East, West, South, North, Brampton, London, and Norval in the Ecclesiastical District of Southern Ontario held a series of blood donation activities on May 6, 14, and 16, 2023.

The donors went to the Canadian Blood Services in Britannia Road, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada to give help to those who are in need of blood. They first registered then underwent health screening to determine if they were fit enough to donate blood. A total of 97 bags of blood were collected from this three-day donation drive.

Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers in each congregation arranged the schedule a month before the dates. The socio-civic activity was also a part of the commemoration of the 137th birth anniversary of Brother Felix Y. Manalo (1886-1963), whom the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) firmly believes as the Messenger of God in these last days.

“The Church Of Christ is one of the beautiful groups that is coming to Heartland, Mississauga to give blood,” Naser Al-Kharaz of the Canadian Blood Services, said. “Their mission is to help the community. Thank you, Church Of Christ.” — With reports from Raymond Cunanan and America Perez of INC News Section
