Sham Shui Po Congregation in HK celebrates fifth anniversary

In celebration of five years of establishment of the Local Congregation of Sham Shui Po, Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong, the brethren gathered at an event place along Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong on July 30, 2023 for an evening filled with various fun activities. Brother Noer Misa, district supervising minister, graced the event with his presence.
The program started with a karaoke competition where all departments and areas of the congregation have their respective participant. Daisy Daria from Area 1 was declared the winner.
Afterwards, a group of choir members, Bible students, and candidates for baptism, as well as newly baptized brethren, performed a choral presentation rendering Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.
Led by the officers in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), “the brethren enjoyed the activities prepared for them. They were very grateful to God and to the Church Administration for such event that provided an avenue to edify the faith of the brethren and to socialize with one another,” said Brother Vladimir L. Lim, resident minister.
Recognizing the brethren who actively participated in the intensified works of propagation and bore fruits from 2019 to 2023, a special award was given to them led by Brother Misa. — With reports from Jeniffer Grace Belen of INC News Section
