Three local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada, namely, Spruce Meadows, Capitol Hill, and Heritage Park, held a friendly softball game on July 10, 2022.

The activity was held at the Chapparal School Baseball Diamond, along Chaparral Drive SE, Calgary, Canada. On the day of the competition, the softball teams from the local congregations of Capitol Hill and Heritage Park, together with their supporters, drove to the venue where the teams from Spruce Meadows were waiting.

Matches were played between the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi teams from the participating local congregations.

Far more important than the brethren’s enjoyment, the activity strengthened the bond of the brotherhood of the Church members who participated.

The three local congregations are part of the Calgary Ecclesiastical District, which supervises 12 local congregations and 14 group worship services (GWS). The district is under the supervision of Brother Rolando Gaviola. — With reports from INC News Section
