Leading the children in rendering proper worship to the Lord God  is a crucial role. That was what Brother Vizar Balcita, supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe, emphasized to the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers during their special gathering on July 9, 2023 in line with their commemoration of the upcoming 105th anniversary of the CWS.

“One notable fact about our district is that most of the local congregations are hundreds of miles apart as brethren reside in various countries. But we are thankful to the Almighty God for, through livestreaming, we are able to attend gatherings like this, that strengthen our faith,” said John Diether Mendoza, CWS choir leader from the Local Congregation of Oslo East, Norway whose place of worship served as the host site.

Knuvie Johansen, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, Denmark, shared, “Even though we are very far away from the district office situated in Oslo, we never feel left out. We are always spiritually uplifted. It will always be fulfilling for me to lead in hymn-singing during our worship of God even in my young age.”

According to Brother Balcita, the holy gathering proved to be timely in preparing both the CWS officers and the children prior to their thanksgiving worship service, which is their way of thanking God for the 109th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). — With reports from Gwyneth Visitacion of the INC News Section
