In unity with the Church Administration’s noble intent to further edify their helpers in leading and caring for the members, the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe’s leadership convened the Church officers for special gathering on September 4, 2023.

It was held mainly at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Val d’Oise, France and streamed live to other places of worship designated as additional venues.

District supervising minister, Brother Marvin B. Adriano, officiated at the sacred gathering conducted for the spiritual upliftment of the Church officers toward more inspired and effective performance of their functions both for their sake and that of the brethren under their care.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Adriano reminded the Church officers on how they can uphold their God-given duties, especially in caring for the brethren, though they themselves experience numerous problems in life.

Reflecting on what he learned from the lesson, Rodel Mercado, head deacon of the Val d’Oise Congregation, shared, “Despite the many trials I went through, I asked God for help through prayers. He did not abandon us. Instead, He gave the solutions for my problems. It’s because of that, I’m still able to perform my duty inside the Church.”

With similar resolve, Margaux Odulio, a KADIWA officer with the same congregation, said, “Even though we have many problems and preoccupations in life, I will fulfill my purpose, which is to serve God and help my brothers and sisters in the Church, especially my fellow youth members, to be strong in their faith and to never abandon their services to God.” — With reports from Victoria Elenita Lopez of INC News Section
