Sta. Barbara Congregation holds musical program for its 85th anniversary

Four days before the Local Congregation of Sta. Barbara exactly reached its 85th anniversary, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members there held a musical celebration at Sta. Barbara Coliseum, Santa Barbara, Pangasinan, Philippines, on November 26, 2023.
To commence the activity, Brother Dexter Maravilla, resident minister, led the opening prayer, followed by opening remarks by Brother Helbert Ragasa, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer of the Ecclesiastical District of San Carlos City, Pangasinan.
Afterwards, talented brethren presented song and dance performances featuring INC original music that everyone so enjoyed. Also part of the program was the awarding of Church officers and brethren who were instrumental in converting more people into the Church.
At the event’s conclusion, Brother Eduardo Olipas, the district supervising minister, gave the closing remarks. He commended the brethren for their selfless efforts that, with God’s help and mercy, brought to fruition all of the Church’s endeavors they united with.
“It’s one of the happiest moments of my life being among those commemorating the 85th anniversary of our local congregation,” expressed Imelda Discipulo, a deaconess and one of the congregation’s pioneering members. “I will strive together with my household not to fall short of God’s expectation regarding the fulfillment of our Church duties,” she added.
