Their condition proved to be not a hindrance for the Deaf brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat to fulfill their God-given duty to share God’s Message of salvation. On October 17, 2022, members and officers of the district’s Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD) spearheaded an evangelical mission at the house of worship of the Buenaflor Extension in Tacurong City.

“Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) further intensify the works of propagation to people from all walks of life, including those who are hearing impaired,” said Brother Mcdaniel del Rosario, district CSD adviser.

Brother del Rosario interpreted in sign language (SL) the preaching of Brother Rafel Munar III, the district chronicler. The Bible-based lesson delved on how people will be counted worthy of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.

“The brethren actively participate in the Church’s intensive work of propagation by sharing with their loved ones and friends, including members of the Deaf community, the teachings of God upheld inside the Church Of Christ,” enthused Brother Munar.

The Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat in the Soccsksargen region in Central Mindanao, Philippines, comprises 35 local congregations and seven group worship services, including 10 extensions. — With reports from INC News Section
