The Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan organized and hosted a bowling competition at Dongdong Bowling Alley in Taoyuan City on December 17, 2023.

It was held as part of the district’s INC Unity Games. Aside from providing opportunity for physical exercise, the activity, as participant Mandrico Ventura Jr. from the Taoyuan City Congregation experienced, “help[ed] strengthen the bond among brethren, and reduce the stress and sadness” borne of being far from their loved ones.

The representatives of the Local Congregation of Linkou Central bagged gold medals in the Bowling Group Category; that of the Local Congregation of Hukou second place and were awarded with silver medals, while those from the Local Congregation of Taoyuan City ranked third and received bronze medals.

Melinda Lin from Linkou Congregation stated that through this activity, brethren from various parts of the district were able to meet and establish connections with one another.

“This activity helps in making the brethren in Taiwan more zealous in taking part in the works of the Church. We are happy for our Lord God, through the Church Administration, continues to guide us in keeping our spiritual fervor,” stated Brother Herminio Delos Santos Jr., minister of the gospel. — With reports from Jerson Cuevas of INC News Section
