The Local Congregation of Tamil in the Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines, has been blessed with a new house of worship. It was dedicated to God through a special worship service officiated by Brother Rogelio Laplana Jr., district supervising minister, on December 8, 2023.

Brother Laplana taught about the importance of the house of worship to the lives of God’s true servants. “It is where God’s people take refuge amid adversities in life, seeking God through prayers, ever hopeful of His given strength, guidance, and blessings,” the district supervising minister explained in an interview after the worship service.

This recent development “has helped the brethren here to stay strong in the faith as they remain active in our Church duties, especially in our worship services to God,” attested Brother Eraño Aswe, resident minister.

The new 150-seater house of worship has been equipped with state-of-the-art sound system, CCTV system, and the Johannus organ. It is located at the street and village of the congregation’s namesake, within the municipality of Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte, which is approximately 56 kilometers from the district office along Magsaysay St., Maputak, Dipolog City. — With reports from INC News section
