Local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Tarlac City, Tarlac yet again reaped the abundant fruits of efforts in the Church’s work of propagating the gospel during a baptism on June 24, 2023.

Brother Emil Santiago officiated at the baptismal service conducted at the worship building of the Aguso Local Congregation, during which more than a hundred new members were admitted into the Church.

Before their immersion into water, as the Bible prescribes, the district supervising minister preached to the candidates for baptism to hold fast the membership in the true Church they were about to receive whatever hardships they may face. They must least learn to endure trials, Brother Santiago said citing the Bible, as they lead an upright life for doing so will strengthen their faith and their hope for salvation.

Reflecting on this, Jonathan Gaudia from Paraiso Congregation, said in an interview later, “Even though I encounter many trials and difficulties, I will not let them hinder my membership inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Instead, I will make them my inspiration to become more active in attending the worship services and to be steadfast in the faith that I have received.” ― With reports from Rose Pearl Peralta of INC News Section
