A team-building workshop held on January 8, 2022, in one of the office spaces of the Local Congregation of General Santos City brought together old and new officers of the District Multimedia from the Ecclesiastical District of General Santos City, South Cotabato.

The group dynamics activity provided a great opportunity for newly recruited officers not only to get to know other each other but to also learn new knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties and be able to contribute to their bureau’s success while at the same time grow spiritually.

Andrei Evangelio and Karen Crampatanta, both district multimedia officers, joined hands in discussing to the attendees the basics of script and news writing, photography, videography, and video editing. Later on, team building tasks were facilitated.

During the activity, the new recruits were challenged to explore their potential as they were given time to wander around the compound to take photos, make short films, or do a live report, with what they have been taught as their guide. A critique of their outputs followed after.

One of the participants, Franklin Lagrimas, chose to join the multimedia team as a cameraman. He enthused, “This activity is a great help for me as I truly want to excel in fulfilling my Church duties, such as producing news about our district activities.”

Brother Bert Gary Alcontin, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, and Brother Dave Jayson Jusi, district multimedia adviser, were on-site to supervise the activity.

“We thank God for allowing this activity to happen. We also thank Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, Executive Minister, and Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, CFO Coordinator, for approving and guiding us through activities like this,” said Brother Alcontin on behalf of the district multimedia team. — With reports from INC News Section
