KADIWA and Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong took part in the worldwide Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Youth Summit held on May 13, 2022. From their homes and dormitories, the brethren, together with their guests, watched the presentations especially prepared for the summit.

During the video presentation, the attendees were taught what they should be focused on doing, now that they are still young—planning and working hard for a successful career and bright future.

“The CFO Youth Summit was very timely, informative and inspiring. The young Church members and their guests were entertained with Christian music, and shown the various Church activities around the world, in which the KADIWA and Binhi organizations actively participated,” said Brother Arnel Trinidad, district supervising minister of Thailand.

One of the guests was Neo Ng, a high school student, who expressed his appreciation of the activity. “The youth summit was quite interesting and impressive. One of the most inspiring parts of the program was the message of how we should work hard, set a goal, and listen to good advice to achieve success.” Finding the activity to be beneficial, he added, “If there is another program like this again, I will join the next time.”

Far above diligence and prudent planning, the youth were taught from the Bible the much greater importance of trusting in God in order to succeed, as discussed by the ministers of gospel during the video presentation. The ministers also advised that one should not fall into depression should he experience failures, but instead, should pray to God so that his good plans will come into fruition.

“The youth is the most vulnerable sector when it comes to depression. That is why the discussion during the video presentation enlightened the youth how they can succeed in life and how to overcome depression, not only by doing what experts say, but above all, by obeying God’s words written in the Bible,” stated Brother Trinidad.

KADIWA (short for Kabataang may Diwang Wagas or youth with noble intent) is the organization of unmarried Church members, who are 18 years old and above, and are preparing for a stable and bright future. Binhi organization is composed of brethren who are 12-17 years old, whose priority is to pursue good education. — With reports from INC News Section
