Texas youth attend back-to-back commemorative activities

The KADIWA and Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Texas commemorated the 49th anniversary of their respective organizations by attending back-to-back activities on October 29, 2022.

Congregating at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Humble, they first attended the special worship service officiated at by Brother Virginio G. Ramilo II, district supervising minister. During the homily, they were exhorted  to strive to live in holiness in order to be worthy of receiving the blessings of God. They were also reminded to value their Church membership over the things in this world in order to be guaranteed of salvation.

After the special gathering, the KADIWA and Binhi members proceeded to the function hall of the house of worship to watch short films independently produced by each local congregation. With the film viewing done, awards were handed to the productions that awed the audience.

“The short films that were produced by our young brethren in each of the local congregations delved on topics such as importance of sharing our faith, of being prayerful, and of being role models for the people of this world,” said Brother Jeffrey Domingo, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer of the district.

The Ecclesiastical District of Texas oversees 11 local congregations, two Group Worship Services and one extension clustered in the southern part of the Lone Star state. The district office is in 1002 Elizabeth St., Corpus Christi. — With reports from INC News Section
