Three local congregations under the Ecclesiastical District of Batac City, Ilocos Norte aimed for synergy in the Church’s intensified work of propagation during their joint evangelical mission on October 7, 2022.

Brethren from the Badoc, Darat, and Sucoc congregations joined hands in inviting their townmates to attend the proclamation of the pure gospel, which was held at the grounds of Igama Colleges Foundation, Inc. in the town of Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.

The evangelical mission was officiated by Brother Cesar Cruz, the assistant district supervising minister, and Brother Ronie Miguel, the district treasurer. Brother Cruz, who was the first speaker, preached in the Filipino language while Brother Miguel in Iluko, the native tongue in Ilocos Norte province. The Bible-based lesson the ministers taught was about the necessity of joining the true Church Of Christ in order to receive salvation on Judgment Day.

“I am amazed because what the minister preached was based on the Scriptures or the words of God,” one of the many guests, Roderick Dahilig, a teacher, expressed in an interview after the propagational activity. “I also noticed that all the answers were straightforward and directly quoted from the Bible. I want to learn more of the teachings upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo.”

Another guest, Judy Ann Garzon, also a teacher said she “immediately noticed the orderliness of the gathering.”

“I felt the solemnity of the gathering—no one is chatting with one another or walking around—all are in full attention in listening to the minister who preaches. That convinces me a lot to continue to learn more about the Church,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
