Young members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from the ecclesiastical districts of South Korea and Hong Kong simultaneously held the Christian Family Youth Summit on May 14, 2023.

KADIWA and Binhi members gathered at respective places of worship; many of them even brought along friends and acquaintances who are nonmembers.

After being treated to performances featuring INC Original Music, the attendees watched a discussion-type video presentation. It was about the importance of wisdom. Speakers in the said video thus reminded the attendees that despite the abundance of information nowadays, even from so-called influencers in social media, they should listen to the One Who will guide them to the right path through His words written in the Bible.

Facilitated by their respective resident ministers, some of the attendees were then encouraged to “share their stories of faith, particularly on how it has been proven in their lives that they believe in, trust in, and rely on what God can do for them,” said Brother Jonathan Jove, Christian Family Organizations overseer of Hong Kong Ecclesiastical District. “They enjoyed the topic because of its relevance to their lives,” he added.

“We learned in the video presentation Who the best influencer is,” Apple Lacaba, KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Yuen Long, shared. “He is none other than our Lord God.” — With reports from Chris Pugay and Evangeline Obra of INC News Section
