The group of keglers representing the Local Congregation of Uijeongbu won first place in the bowling tournament of the Ecclesiastical District of South Korea.

Those from Incheon Local Congregation and Yongin GWS landed second and third place, respectively.

A total of 30 players from 8 local congregations competed in the tourney held on January 25, 2023 at the Elephant Bowling Center in Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul City.

The doctrinal instructees and candidates for baptism joined the brethren in the fun activity. The latter also took the chance to invite their guests to play bowling.

Brother Roderick Yome, district supervising minister, together with the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers spearheaded the activity. He said, “Staying physically fit is a must as we tend to our needs and, most importantly, our duties in the Church. That is the aim of this activity while also providing an avenue to bond with one another.”

“This gave joy to the brethren and some discovered their potentials in becoming good bowlers. Most importantly, this activity strengthened the brotherly love even in the face of competition,” Brother Yome added. — With reports from INC News Section
