Unity Games in Spain District concludes

On August 15, 2022, the INC Unity Games in the Ecclesiastical District of Spain concluded. The district finals were held at Centro Deportivo Municipal Margot Moles, a sports complex in Madrid, Spain.
The sporting event started with a parade of the players after which Brother Ezekiel Silva, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, administered the oath of sportsmanship.
“This activity is an opportunity for us to gather once again especially now that we are able to do face-to-face activities. This is one way of showing the unity inside the Church Of Christ,” Brother Silva said.
After the opening ceremony, the final matches in basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, track-and-field, darts, chess, and scrabble ensued and were facilitated by CFO officers who served as the sports officials.
The awarding ceremony, led by Brother Froilan Enriquez, the district supervising minister, capped the activity. Winners in team and individual events received trophies and medals.
