Participating in the worldwide evangelical missions conducted by the Iglesia Ni Cristo for its 109th anniversary were the Ecclesiastical Districts of Negros Oriental and Aklan, which are respectively located in the Central Visayas and Western Visayas regions of the Philippines.

On July 28, 2023, brethren and guests in Negros Oriental flocked to the houses of worship of the local congregations of Manjuyod, Mabinay, Siaton, Tanjay City, and Dumaguete City for the propagational event.

Prior to the evangelical mission, the brethren handed out Pasugo: God’s Message magazines and pamphlets as part of their invitation to the worldwide evangelistic event.

Giving her observation after attending the evangelical mission, Rita Balahan, one of the guests, conveyed, “I noticed that everything is properly arranged inside the chapel. The males are seated separately from the females. And everything that the minister teaches comes straight from the Bible.”

“The brethren here in Negros Oriental are zealous when it comes to the work of propagation. Whenever they hear the call of the Church Administration about such activities, the brethren heed right away, just like what they did for this evangelical mission in commemoration of the 109th anniversary of the Church Of Christ in these last days,” said Brother Renato Callejo, district supervising minister.

Meanwhile, in Aklan, the brethren ushered a total of 2,152 guests to the evangelical missions held on July 29 at the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Altavas, Boracay, Caticlan, Ibajay, Kalibo, Libacao, New Washington, and Numancia.

The officiating ministers taught the Bible-based lesson detailing God’s call of obedience to mankind in order to receive salvation, primarily of which is being found inside the true Church Of Christ.

Nita De Tomas, one of the guests who attended at the house of worship of Kalibo Congregation, said, “I realized that my former belief is not in accordance with the teachings of the Bible. I will continue listening to the teachings inside the Church Of Christ.” Gigina Yaldua, another guest at Kalibo, declared, “I look forward to attend upcoming evangelical missions because I want to learn more about God’s will.”

District supervising minister Brother Eduardo L. Donato said on behalf of the brethren in Aklan: “We promise to our Lord God that we will always be united with the Church Administration. We will always be one with all the activities launched in the Church.” — With reports from Jemaima Jamito and Floradel Almero of INC News Section
