Part of the four-week period celebration of Bulacan West Ecclesiastical District’s first anniversary, a new extension was established in Wawa Street, Brgy. Iba, Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines. The Wawa Extension, of the Iba O’ Este Local Congregation, is the third in the district, the first and second being the Pamarawan and Daungan extensions, respectively.

Brother Felipe Naguit, resident minister, gladly shared how the brethren prepared all the necessary requirements for the said extension to be approved, “As soon as we learned the required documents to be processed, we strove to secure all of them as soon as possible. Most importantly, we set devotional prayers to ask help from the Lord, and that may He grant us success in this undertaking.”

The inaugural worship of the newest extension was held on May 17, 2023, and was officiated at by Brother Librado Santos, district supervising minister. In his Bible-based preaching he emphasized to the brethren the importance of worshiping God despite hardships in life.

“We’re so happy and blessed that the Church Administration has approved a new extension in our district. We’ll never stop proclaiming the words of God by inviting our neighbors, loved ones, and friends to evangelical missions,” expressed Rodolfo Chico, deacon, whose part of his property donated to the Church to be the extension’s place of worship.

On behalf of the brethren, Brother Santos conveyed his “thanks and praises to God” for guiding the district in its formative years, and “for utilizing Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, in leading us in the intensified works of the Church. We promise to all the more unite with the Church Administration as the district looks forward to more years of serving the Lord.” — With reports from Jelle Ann Joson of INC News Sections
