KADIWA, Binhi, and Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) members from the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia received much needed spiritual guidance and inspiration during the special gatherings they held on October 6, 2023.

The said holy occasions held simultaneously at the houses of worship of the local congregations of Vancouver West and Surrey, were officiated by the district supervising minister Brother Glendo Baitan and the assistant district supervising minister Brother Ranniel Serreno, respectively.

The young Christians from Surrey were joined by their fellow members from Guildford, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, and Langley; whereas those from Vancouver West by those from East Vancouver, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond.

In both gatherings, the officiating ministers delivered a biblical lesson on how the youth can achieve a prosperous and fulfilling life in consonance with their faith as true Christians. They encouraged the young brethren to always uphold God’s teachings in making the right choices in life.

“Having this gathering is a good opportunity for us young members to be reminded to uphold the teachings that are being taught in the Church Of Christ especially those that are geared towards attaining a bright future and most importantly, remaining active members of the Church,” said Floro Llagas, a KADIWA member from Vancouver West.

“We should not feel worried about the difficulties we experience but rather we are all encouraged to trust our God,” Cohrina Manzano, a KADIWA member and a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from Langley, said. “Through the many activities launched by the Church Administration, we can focus better our attention on our service to God, and enjoyably with our fellow brethren.”

Maya Gorio, a Binhi member from Burnaby expressed her thanks to “Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, for always guiding us, youth members in the Church. I always pray to bless him so he can continue leading us to become worthy of the promised salvation.” — With reports from Kiara Sahagun of INC News Section
