Adolescent and adult single members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West gathered for worship on November 20, 2022 to commemorate the 49th anniversary of their respective organizations the Binhi and KADIWA.

District supervising minister, Brother Romeo Beltran, officiated at the special gathering from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Melbourne, Victoria, which served as the main venue. This was where KADIWA and Binhi members from local congregations in Metro Melbourne, namely, Altona, Brimbank, Dandenong, Donnybrook, Kingston City, Melbourne, Melton, Merrilands, and Wyndham, gathered.

Brethren from other local congregations attended at their respective houses of worship which were connected through videoconferencing.

Through the Bible, Brother Beltran reminded the attendees to remain active members of the Church, despite temptations and trials that may come along their way. He also exhorted them to always love and respect their parents, and to be thankful to them as well.

“One of the things that I was reminded of in the special gathering was the importance of our parents in guiding us to be better Christians and that as we grow up, we should make it a point to always show our love, care, and respect for them,” Denise Angelee Jingco, a KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Melton, enthused. “We do this by obeying them and saying that we love them.”

“Everyone is united in spirit, love, and faith with the hope of receiving the spiritual blessings we need as we go on in this world. We’re all strengthened through the words of God. We thank Him and the Church Administration,” Kimberly Arellano, district KADIWA vice president, said. — With reports from INC News Section
