Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Zamora Compound, Ecclesiastical District of Caloocan North, in the Philippines, commemorated their congregation’s second anniversary through an evangelical mission on January 8, 2024.

As a result of their concerted efforts at fully preparing for the evangelistic event and with God’s help, they were able to bring many guests, filling their place of worship. Their preparation included distributing copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine in their neighborhood.

Brother Edrev Anson Pungan, resident ministerial worker, led the Bible study emphasizing the importance of membership in the true Church Of Christ in receiving God’s blessings in this life and the eternal salvation on Judgment Day.

The Zamora Compound Local Congregation began as an area of the Local Congregation of Deparo. “We are so thankful to the Lord God for upholding us throughout the many trials,” said Wilfredo Canlas, head deacon. “When our local congregation was established, the pandemic was still rampant in the country but never did God forsake us.”

“We will uphold our zeal no matter what we face in this life. We will always be active in all of the Church works,” said Brother Jerson Cervantes, the resident minister, on behalf of the congregation. — With assistance from Kristine Pineda of INC News Section
