With God’s blessings on the unceasing efforts of the brethren to share the gospel of salvation and lead others into the true faith, the number of brethren from the Local Congregation of Aranguren, which is under the Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac, in the Philippines, all the more grew.

Such growth led to the recent establishment of the Calumpit Extension. On May 18, 2022, with the approval of the Church Administration, the first worship service of the new extension was conducted in their own place of worship, which is about eight kilometers from Aranguren Congregation’s house of worship. The holy gathering was led by Brother Pedro Castillo, the district supervising minister.

“We offer many thanks to our Lord God because through the Church Administration, this extension was established. The brethren residing around here now have a place to worship God and conduct Church activities closer to their homes,” said Brother Neal Buena III, resident ministerial worker. “We promise to God and the Administration that we will continue being active in fulfilling our Church duties and we will take care of this place of worship. We will uphold the intensified works of the Church to give glory to God and for us to be worthy of salvation,” he added.

The brethren who were able to attend the worship services expressed elation over the development. “I am joyful to perform my duty in the first worship service of this extension. The brethren in this place are also overjoyed that there is now an extension here,” Rolando Domingo, head deacon, said. — With reports from INC News Section
