Further intensifying the works of propagation in the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West, Brother Romeo Beltran, district supervising minister, sent Brother Manuel Villapañe, district edification overseer, to lead the evangelical mission and Care for Humanity events in Lae City, Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Solomon Islands.

From the district office in Victoria, Australia, Brother Villapañe travelled an eight-hour flight to PNG to proclaim the words of God in an evangelical mission on September 10, 2023. Held at the Lae City Congregation’s house of worship, the evangelistic activity was a good opportunity for the brethren to share their faith by inviting their friends and relatives to listen to the teachings of God upheld in the Church.

“We were really grateful and blessed for the evangelical mission that was held in Lae City. Many people were invited and came to listen to the words of God. They were very interested because they found out that the doctrines upheld in the Church are Bible-based,” declared Reynold Baltazar, head deacon from the Lae City Congregation.

Five days after, on September 15, another evangelical mission was held at the Solomon Islands, a three-hour flight from PNG, led also by Brother Villapañe. In both events, he emphasized to the guests the importance of knowing Who the true God is and the true Church in attaining salvation when Judgment Day comes.

Afterwards, the brethren distributed care packages which contained several food and grocery items. — With reports from Quiza Quiñola of INC News Section
