Striving to excel not only in their studies but also in the Lord’s work, the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Benguet in the Philippines took the lead in sharing the gospel by inviting their fellow students to attend evangelical missions. These events were simultaneously held at the grounds of several schools on June 27, 2023.

Some of these schools were the Benguet State University, Kapangan Central National High School, and Baguio College of Technology (BCT) where Brother Jessy Capuno, district supervising minister, officiated. Fellow ministers led at other said venues. They imparted to the students the Bible’s teaching on the importance of membership in the true Church Of Christ in receiving salvation on Judgment Day. “It is a must to follow what the Lord Jesus Christ commanded to anyone to enter or join the Church Of Christ,” Brother Capuno stressed.

“The teaching was delivered well. It is biblically based. To every question, the answer was read from the Bible,” said Bartolome Santos, one of the invited students.

With her classmates telling her their desire to learn more about God’s will, Christine Gonzales, a CBI member, replied, “I will continue inviting them to listen to God’s words upheld inside the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from Clariz Hidalgo of INC News Section
