Binhi members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo North gamely participated in the Binhi Sports Day held on April 22, 2022 at the covered court of Barangay Jamul-Awon, in the municipality of Concepcion, Iloilo, Philippines.

Various games including basketball, volleyball, badminton, among others, were facilitated, as well as a cheering competition. Brother Jose Mari Las Marias, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, supervised the activity with the aid of the KADIWA district officers.

“For almost two years, we haven’t had any face-to-face and outdoor activities due to the pandemic. We are all happy to be together. This is a fulfilling experience,” said Maybelle Advincula, a Binhi member. “I’m happy to take part in this activity launched by the Church Administration.”

“Since the government allowed contact sports under Alert Level 1 status, the least strict, we planned for this activity to bring together the young brethren,” said Brother Las Marias. “We can see the joy and happiness from the faces of the members.”

At the end of the activity, an awarding ceremony was held. — With reports from INC News Section
