“It’s great because we know that we are helping other people and at the same time we are participating in an event the Church Administration has launched,” said Francis Malang, a Buklod officer, about how he feels every time he participates in a blood donation activity of the Church.

This selfless act of Francis is also the collective sentiment of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Regina, in the newly established Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan, as they united in the blood donation activity led by the congregation’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, on November 4, 2023, at the Canadian Blood Services along 4180 Albert Street, City of Regina, Province of Saskatchewan in Canada.

Kevin Mamucud, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher, stated, “There will always have a need for blood and it is important for the brethren to participate in blood donation activities to help those who are in need.”

“It feels good because we are doing this for the benefit of our fellowmen in this time of need,” said Terry Numrich, a deacon. “So, I’d like to thank our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for an opportunity to be of help to people through this Church activity.”

Brother Felman Saren, assistant district supervising minister, shared, “The Local Congregation of Regina holds blood donation every year. The reason we do this is because it is in line with the teaching written in the Holy Scriptures that we should love our fellowmen.” — With reports from Lailani Y. Lucy-Garcia of INC News Section
