Part of the activities lined up by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Ecclesiastical District of Macau, a Public Speaking seminar was held by the Local Congregation of Taipa at its place of worship on January 11, 2022. The activity was also livestreamed for other brethren to be able to attend the said activity from their homes.

During the seminar, the resource speaker, Sister Bernadette Lacay, taught the brethren basic tips on how to become an effective communicator, which are essential for daily use, such as in social interaction, educational and occupational purposes, and more importantly, sharing the true faith.

“We were taught the ‘dos and don’ts’ when speaking in public. Because of this seminar, I gained more confidence in communicating with others, especially with those who are not yet Church members. We can use the skills that we have learned in inviting them to our evangelical missions,” said Sister Olivia Ramil, a Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) officer.

Through activities of the CFO such as this, Church Of Christ members become more equipped with skills that they can use in their everyday endeavors, and most especially, in their active services to the Lord God. — With reports from INC News Section
