The leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan South, in the Philippines, inducted into office a total of 766 brethren from various local congregations during two special gatherings of Church officers held simultaneously on November 26, 2022.

“So many aspired to become Church officers that we have to hold gatherings in two separate venues,” explained Brother Eufracio B. Castillo Jr., district supervising minister. “More officers denote additional workforce, which is why the newly appointed ones will be a great help to our district, and to the Church as a whole, in looking after its spiritual welfare.”

Brother Castillo officiated at the sacred occasion conducted in the house of worship of the Marilao Congregation where 449 new officers took their oath. The assistant district supervising minister Brother Eraño Fabella led the Church officers gathered in that of the Ciudad de Victoria Congregation, during which he sworn in 317 new officers.

Prior to the oath taking, each of the two ministers taught a Bible-based lesson about the qualities that Church officers must have, which include being faithful, responsible, trustworthy, and compassionate, among others, for optimal performance of their duties for the benefit of the Church’s works.

“Being remiss of the duties inside the Church is displeasing before God’s sight, which is why I will fulfill these all the days of my life, and to the best of my abilities to glorify Him,” said Rei-Anne Francine Balmores from the Local Congregation of Santol, who took her oath as a choir member and as a congregation secretary. — With reports from District Multimedia
