In commemoration of their organization’s anniversary, the members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) from the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, Canada attended a special gathering on February 18, 2022. Pursuant to the government’s rules on the number of people in gatherings, some SCAN members gathered in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Downtown, Alberta, while others joined from their homes through videoconferencing.

Brother Rolando Gaviola, the district supervising minister of Calgary, officiated the holy occasion. He reminded the SCAN members of God’s purpose of placing officers in the Church. He reiterated to them that God expects them to be of help to the Church administration in bringing the Church Of Christ to its perfection.

After the special gathering, Brothers Melchor Fronda and Rommel Villamor, both SCAN members, were given recognition for their exemplary efforts in the works of propagation in the recent evangelical mission sponsored by their organization.

For 33 years now, SCAN, founded by no less than Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the present Executive Minister of the Church, has been holding activities in line with its motto: “Saving lives is our priority.”  —With reports from INC News Section
