As part of commemorating the 50th anniversary of the KADIWA, its members in the Ecclesiastical District of Caribbean held a KADIWA Formal at the Benvenuto Restaurant in Boynton, Florida, on November 18, 2023.

Organized by the district and local KADIWA officers, the event consisted fun games and a variety of meals for the attendees. According to Angelica Fernando, local KADIWA officer in the Miami Congregation, “It’s such a blessing to have helped in organizing this activity, which helped edify our fellow KADIWA and remind all of us of the love of the brotherhood in the Church.”

Showcasing his God-given talent, Charles Garcia from the Miami Congregation entertained the attendees by playing music with his violin.

Before the event’s conclusion, Brother Garry Garcia, district supervising minister, reminded the KADIWA members of the importance of upholding a life that is worthy of true Christians.

In an interview, Brother Garcia said, “We thank the Church Administration for approving of activities for the Church’s youth such as this. As we know, the culture of the world has so much negative influence, especially on the youth. Activities of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), such as this KADIWA Formal, are instrumental in instilling Christian values to Church Of Christ members.”
