High school and college students from the Ecclesiastical District of Bogo City, Cebu, in the Philippines held an assembly on March 15, 2022 during which they received spiritual guidance through God’s teachings, especially in relation to their studies.

In the same occasion held at the house of worship of the Bogo City Congregation, they appointed new officers in their organization, the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI).

“The main purpose of this assembly is to appoint officers for the CBI chapters in every school,” said Rhea Alburo, the CBI district president. “We intend to have a set of officers in every chapter to help guide our fellow brethren in their studies.”

A CBI chapter is a group of student-brethren in one or more schools as the case may be.

Brother Bryan Balceda,  the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, preached a Bible-based lesson during the said gathering. He encouraged the brethren-students to “never forget to conduct a devotional prayer to ask from the Lord God the guidance and protection” they need in their studies.

“We are thankful to the Church Administration for the guidance and support they are giving us even in our studies through the officers in the CBI,” said Jomar Muñez, a Church officer from Bogo City Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
