The Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) from the Ecclesiastical District of Northeast California on January 8, 2022 conducted an online seminar on budgeting.

CBI members, who were current high school and college students, learned how to properly budget their resources, especially during these times of economic hardship.

Erstwhile members, that is, new graduates, as well as the members’ parents, were invited to join the webinar.

Prior to the seminar proper, Brother Andrew Taaca, district auditor, imparted to the attendees the importance of saving and setting aside for building a brighter future as taught by the Bible.

The resource speaker, Rey Cadiz, a financial advisor, then discussed the basics of budgeting, gave useful pointers, and answered attendees’ questions about credit, savings, and retirement funds.

“In activities of the CBI, such as this seminar, the brethren, who are currently studying, are taught how to be able to maintain their Church membership and their Church duties, while pursuing their careers,” said Brother Nathan Antolin, District CBI President.

Established in 1976, the CBI aims to help the Christian youth in their studies and teach them to live, interact with others, and deal with difficult situations in a Christian manner. —With reports from INC News Section
