From May 8 to 14, 2023, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan held evangelical missions at respective houses of worship. This was their way of commemorating the 137th birth anniversary of Brother Felix Y. Manalo (1886-1963), whom they and fellow brethren around the world firmly believe is God’s Messenger in the last days.

Resident ministers, led by Brother Mayonel Taal, the district supervising minister, taught biblical lessons which emphasized the necessity of man’s being found inside the true Church Of Christ to ensure his salvation, as well as the significance of God’s sending of messengers in preaching His pristine gospel.

Reflecting on what she heard, Sherilyn Cruz, a guest of the Local Congregation of Guishan, said, “Thank you for inviting me here in your Church. Being here was really worthwhile, quite an experience to hear God’s words from the Bible. I’m looking forward for more opportunities when I will know more about the Church Of Christ.” She later on enlisted as a doctrinal instructee.

Days prior to these evangelical missions, the Church members invited their fellowmen by giving them copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine, and pamphlets.

“Our city is known to be a center of commerce and business, people are busy making a living,” shared Noemi Mallari, Guishan Congregation secretary. Be that as it may, she was able to bring guests to the house of worship. “It’s my faith to allot time and dedicate effort in all the works of the Church,” she added. — With reports from Karen Abalos of INC News Section
