To help broaden the knowledge of parents with children attending the Children’s Worship Service and CWS officers on child management, the leadership of the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East in the Philippines, in cooperation with the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), conducted a seminar for them on the matter on May 28, 2023.

The seminar, which had the theme “Approaches on Child Management & Mental Health,” was undertaken as part of commemorating the CWS’ 105th anniversary. It aimed to provide the participants with further know-how on giving guidance to the children, especially during their worship service to the Lord God.

Jeanel Ira Mesina, a CWS teacher from the Arayat Congregation and a registered psychometrician by profession led the discussions that included the topic on the value of having patience with the children.

“We must have great amount of patience in taking good care of the children whenever they worship our Lord God, so that we may be able to help them to focus themselves in the rightful manner of worshiping Him,” reflected Princess Pelayo, a CWS officer.

Meanwhile, one of the parents, Rhea Montemayor, said: “This activity greatly helped us giving guidance to our children, especially in this stage of their life, for them to all the more understand the importance of proper way of serving our Lord God.”

Brother Giovanni J. Maganda, the district CFO overseer, delivered a message of inspiration, based on God’s words, for the participants’ further spiritual edification. — With Reports from Dorlyn Arceo of INC News Section
