“The words of God taught to us were very clear. I had a full grasp on what the Iglesia Ni Cristo is and its importance in attaining salvation,” declared Ricardo Polinar, a guest whom Randy Salce, head deacon of the Local Congregation of Compostela, invited to attend the evangelical mission on August 6, 2023. The evangelistic activity was in commemoration of the eighth anniversary of the Ecclesiastical District of Davao de Oro (formerly Compostela Valley).

“Such activity, where I can share my faith, is important for me because it’s where I can express my love for my fellowmen. As constantly taught by the Church Administration, we have to let others know about the Church Of Christ and the proper way of serving the Lord that will lead them to salvation. So, I, and my household, invited some of our neighbors to the evangelical mission,” Randy said.

Together with Randy, other brethren from various local congregations in the said district, brought their loved ones and friends to the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School Gymnasium in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, Philippines to listen to the teachings being upheld in the Church Of Christ.

Led by Brother Garlan Gamboa, a minister of the gospel, the study of God’s words focused on the significance of the true Church Of Christ in attaining eternal life that God, the Almighty Father, promised when Judgment Day comes.

Brother Abraham Lumawig, district Light of Salvation overseer, in an interview, shared that the “proclamation of God’s words was a success because of God’s mercy to their district.” He further said, “Many brethren participated and it was evident by the guests who came in the evangelical mission. We hope that through this, they will be enlightened with the truth.” — With reports from Klent Vincent Magalona and Jovel Cutamora of INC News Section
