Each local congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Spain simultaneously held a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity on June 18, 2023.  “It aimed at edifying the newly baptized members and those in the process of joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ),” said Brother Julius Lansangan, the district edification overseer.

Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, resident ministers, and ministerial workers spearheaded the activity. Many brethren were also present at respective venues, which were either within the congregations’ compound or at open spaces, such as a park, near their place of worship. Through the event, the brethren warmly welcomed the newly baptized members, candidates for baptism, and doctrinal instructees.

Talented brethren performed their rendition of Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs. Exciting games were also prepared, which paved the way for everyone to get to know each other, and for family and friends to have bonding moments. Also part of this activity was the distribution of copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine to guests in attendance.

“Brethren and guests truly enjoyed each other’s company, making each of us further strengthened in the faith,” said Brother Froilan Enriquez Jr., district supervising minister. — With reports from Noemi Jimenez of INC News Section
