Established in December of 1952, the Local Congregation of Estancia, in the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo North, Philippines, celebrated its 70th anniversary early this month with several activities not only for its members’ edification but most of all to glorify God for His blessings to them.

These included a musical presentation, photo exhibit, and a fun walk. On top of these, for which they were grateful to God, was the opportunity to attend a gathering that Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) officiated on December 3, 2022 in the worship service in the Local Congregation of Antipolo, Ecclesiastical District of Rizal.

Gathered in their own house of worship, the brethren from Estancia, through livestreaming, joined members of other congregations that reached their milestone anniversaries in December in praising God and listened to His words as preached by the Executive Minister.

A pioneer member and the current head deacon of the Estancia Congregation,
Ferdinand Octaviano, said, “The joy we felt is so profound. As our beloved Executive Minister preached and prayed for us, I remembered the humble beginnings of our local. Countless are the times that God helped us, He upheld us even through the toughest times.”

“We thank the Lord God above all for edifying us through the Church Administration,” Brother Godfrey Laplana, resident minister, said. “The brethren, especially those who have been members for a long time, were filled with bliss as they felt the enduring and genuine love from our beloved leader. We promise to remain united with the Church Administration and active in all Church works, for the glory and honor of God.” —With reports from INC News Section
