As a manifestation of God’s blessing in the Church’s work of propagation in the province of Camarines Norte in the Philippines, a new extension was added under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Camarines Norte.

With the continued growth of the number of members in Brgy. Gabon, the Local Congregation of Talisay in the said district sought the permission of the Church Administration to organize the brethren there to form an extension. The request was approved and the inaugural worship service of the newest extension in the district was held on October 18, 2022. Brother David Q. Peralta, the district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion.

“We’re very happy because God, through the Church Administration, allowed us to have our own place of worship here in our place,” expressed Roldan Sangil, one of the head deacons. “It’s so important to us so that the brethren will no longer travel for quite a long distance to attend worship services.”

Prior to the establishment of the new extension, brethren in Brgy. Gabon had to travel roughly 10 kilometers to attend Church gatherings in the Local Congregation of Talisay.

“I will diligently work with other brethren here in Gabon and lead my family in actively participating in all the works in the Church,” said Imelda Pablo Padilla, a finance officer.

On behalf of the brethren, Sangil further promised, “We will continue to be devoted in fulfilling our duties to God most especially in our worship services to Him. Through giving importance to these, we are certain that God will be pleased in us and our faith will all the more be strengthened until we receive our salvation.”

With the recent addition of Gabon Extension, the district now supervises 13 extensions, on top of 51 local congregations and 13 group worship services (GWS). — With reports from INC News Section
