Married members, many of whom are Church officers, from the Ecclesiastical District of Greater Toronto convened to attend their special gathering. It was held on December 4, 2023 to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the Buklod, the organization in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its married members.

Led by Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister, the occasion transpired mainly at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Midtown Toronto, and was livestreamed at that of the Local Congregation of Toronto.

In his homily, Brother Adalla emphasized, “Always firmly believe in what is written in the Bible. Obeying God’s commandments greatly helps us to live in holiness, and prepares us to meet the Lord and receive the greatest reward, that is, salvation on Judgment Day.”

Upon attending the gathering, “I feel more strengthened in the faith,” said Jairod Novesteras from Midtown Congregation. “I’m further inspired to fulfill my God-given duty and be of help in edifying my fellow brethren,” added Homer Lintag, head deacon from the Local Congregation of Rexdale. — With reports from INC News Section
