KADIWA officers from every local congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, in the Philippines, got together for a team building workshop on April 10, 2023 to augment their leadership and communication capabilities, among others, toward accomplishment of organizational goals.

“This team building activity aims to enhance the leadership skills of KADIWA officers, as well as the collaboration and communication among themselves, to become more effective in implementing our organization’s activities,” said Eingel Figueroa, the district KADIWA vice president.

During the workshop held at the gymnasium of the Diliman Preparatory School along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, Metro Manila, the KADIWA leaders brainstormed ideas, based on their experiences in their respective local congregations, on how to further motivate their fellow youth to involve themselves more in the activities of their organization and other Church events.

For that purpose, they engaged in simulation games requiring teamwork, in which they played their interconnected roles to achieve synergy and to meet the challenge presented to them.

Jeffrey Perez, district KADIWA president, gave the closing remarks, reminding the KADIWA officers to strive to have the leadership qualities bounded by the teachings of the Almighty God. — With reports from Kate Mabale and Kimberly Sahilan of INC News Section
