“Through this we’ve had the chance to see and bond again with other Buklod members from local congregations after so many years,” Winston Guadiz, from the Local Congregation of Lantau Island, said of the Buklod Night the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong hosted in an events venue inside the Regal Airport Hotel, Lantau Island, Hong Kong on May 26, 2023.

Dressed in their formal attire, the married members gathered for an evening of socializing over musical performances and a delectable dinner.

Brother Noer Misa, district supervising minister, led the formal event. He iterated to the brethren the importance of both husband and wife’s being active in serving God as this greatly help in strengthening their marital relationship.

One of the program’s highlights that garnered the smiles of all attendees was the question-and-answer portion wherein the couples were tested on how attentive they have been through the years to their respective spouse’s likes and habits, among others.

“This Buklod Night is important for us, as for other couples here with us tonight,” said Melodie, Winston’s wife. “What a chance to bond with each other,” she added. — With reports from Arlynn Bartolome of INC News Section
